Welcome to Mike Smith School of Motoring. I have over 15 years experience as a driving instructor.
I provide bespoke driving lessons tailored to your individual needs. If you're nervous about getting on the road and have never before sat in the driving seat, your lessons will begin with the basics and provide the reassurance and support you need to increase your confidence and abilities.
On the other hand, if you're not used to driving in the UK or maybe you haven't driven for a long time, you may be able to benefit from refresher lessons. I can provide as many lessons as necessary to work on your weaknesses and make you feel more comfortable with your driving.

A message from Mike
I’ve been teaching people to drive for more than fifteen years. During this period I’ve had the privilege of helping a wonderful variety of people achieve one of life’s major goals – passing the driving test and gaining their independence through freedom of the road. It’s a very rewarding job which I thoroughly enjoy.
I've spent my life around cars and driving, it's in my blood. I've worked on them, raced them, and my big current passion is my motorbike, it's my pride and joy!
This is what helps drive me to get the best from you when teaching you to drive, years and years of my combined driving experience that I love to pass on to you!
We share a common goal - to get you through your test and prepare you for safe driving afterwards. I love the reward of taking someone that couldn't drive at all and seeing them pass, it's just as big a thrill for me as it will be for you!
I serve the local community in and around the vale of Evesham, in particular schools and colleges. My training car is the new shape Peugeot 207, which is dual controlled and air conditioned for your safety and comfort.
I pride myself on being able to teach anyone regardless of age, aptitude or ability – even the really, really nervous ones! I aim to make your driving lessons informative, constructive and fun too! I can collect you from your place of work, home, or school and finish the driving lessons at a place of your choice within reasonable distance.
